Human Resource Administrator: 1 Year Maternity Leave Coverage

What We’re Looking For

We are looking for an exceptional Human Resource Administrator for a 1-year maternity leave coverage. As the sole person in Human Resources for CB2 Insights you will have exceptional communication and written skills. Are confident in your ability to create policies and procedures and implement them.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a start-up environment where there are many moving parts.

Role and Responsibilities

Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer the Human Resource Administrator will run the day-to-day operations of the department. This will include but is not limited to:

Develop and Implement Policies

  • Job Evaluation
  • Employee Benefits
  • Health and Safety
  • Narrow down candidates and conduct initial interviews
  • Support Salary Reviews
  • Manage Training and Development Needs for Employees
  • Stay on top of legal requirements
  • Conduct exit interviews
  • Maintaining Files
  • Other duties as assigned

What you Bring

  • A minimum of 3 years of work experience or equivalent education and training in human resources
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Knowledge of Ontario employment law
  • Motivated self-starter who works well independently and in a Team environment.

Financial Analyst

REQUIREMENTS

• Proficient in a Microsoft Office environment (Word, Excel, Outlook)

– Navigate and modify Excel workbooks by identifying common tools, applying basic keyboard shortcuts, and manipulating columns and rows

– Apply basic sorting and filtering options as well as statistical functions to explore and summarize values

– Create, update, and maintain financial models and detailed forecasts of the company’s future operations

– Ability to analyze data and create reports using PivotTables

AS A FINANCIAL ANALYST, YOU WILL

• Manage and supervise a team of 2-3 junior analysts/accountants locally and in the US

AS A GENERAL ACCOUNTANT, YOU WILL

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual reports
  • Prepare year-end audits
  • Process accounts payable, expenses reimbursement, payroll, tax reporting and other general accounting work
  • Help improve accounting process
  • Monitor daily transactions
  • Manage/supervise accounting team based in the US
  • Calculate management fee and reconcile intercompany balances
